These products run in the OS/390 environment using standard OS/390 interfaces for the handling of user data. This means that our products will run on any release of OS/390 with no compatability issues when changing release levels of the operating system. Our products provide extensive reporting to allow you to track the data being sent to outside vendors. They also provide extensive error handling and reporting in the event of problems with processing. If you are sending out a large number of tapes or cartridges to your COM vendor, these products will reduce that number by up to 95% per day! QSTAX: This product extracts data from the JES2 queue based on selection criteria determined by your users. End users can select which report files from the JES queue are placed on a physical file for processing by an outside microfiche/CD-rom vendor. The user may also provide information for each report such as distribution instructions, number of copies, etc. A service order is generated automatically, detailing the reports and all report processing instructions. This helps to ensure accurate communication between the end user and the vendor. The files are selected in the order determined by the end user. The user can select which report files are placed on a physical file for processing by an outside microfiche/CD-rom vendor.
